We're near completion of our taking of Rivergard Keep (from Princes of the Apocalypse). We got a boat, and defeated a water-serpent. Next: Getting the hell outta there!
Gral got a chance to use a new spell. It's kinda the best!
I used the prompts from Inktober in 2017 and applied them to all of the characters I've ever played with.
Rolen (seen here in new armor as a level 7 Eldrich Knight) gets the job done with "Burning Hands."
Mamie keeps Gral from dying by stabilizing him with a healing potion. Beisdean and Valeros share a quiet moment by the fire.
Rolen couldn't help but jump out of the boat and onto the winged Air-Cultist to deliver a few attacks of "Shocking Grasp" up close and personal.
Mara discovered that her Eldritch Blast worked quite well underwater against some Merrow warriors.
Valeros goes weaponless against a water-cultist.
Eventually each player character will get a comic cover.
I've created a Gnome Bard character for a one-off "Tomb of Horrors" game. I'm assuming Wren will die and not make it through the Tomb, but I'm enjoying creating him anyway.
Wren uses "Mage Hand" to avoid getting slimed.
We entered the Tomb of Horrors on October 5th, 2015. All characters (including Wren!) are still alive after one session.
